Look out Snapchat. Instagram now has facial filters

With the recent updates that Instagram and Facebook has put out, all social platforms are looking a lot alike. Instagram, just yesterday, finally adds face filters to your storytelling. Starting with eight initial filter, you can again, have koala ears or nerdy glasses to make a bland selfie something fun and exciting in the words of Instagram. So what does this mean for Snapchat, the innovators for facial filters that introduced us to puppies or vomiting rainbows? Only time will tell, but we hope Snapchat sticks around during this era of face-filtering storytelling.

Our team compared the two platforms and we agree that we think Instagram has some work to do before they can be face-filter champs like Snapchat. (we like the big mouth & voice changers!)
